Dave Owens has left his position as sports digital correspondent for WUSA-TV. Owens joined WUSA-TV in April 2009. He previously was a sports anchor and reporter at KTAL-TV since 2006. Before that, he was a sports anchor for KRCR-TV in Redding, CA. Owens served in the United States Navy for six years prior to that, and graduated from the United States Naval Academy.
