Nicole Gaouette and Michael Nutter have joined the staff of CNN, where both will focus on politics. Gaouette, who was most recently a reporter for Bloomberg News in Washington, will serve as a national security reporter for CNN Politics Digital. She had previously covered the FDA and health policy for Bloomberg, and focused on immigration as a Washington-based reporter for the Los Angeles Times before that. Nutter, the former mayor of Philadelphia, will be a political commentator for CNN. He served as mayor of Philadelphia from 2008 until this January. I'm thrilled to be joining the excellent team @CNNPolitics to help cover national security. 2016 is going to keep us busy!
