ESPN The Magazine has shifted editor in chief Chad Millman into the role of editorial director for the magazine. Millman had been the editor in chief of the magazine since June 2011, and previously served as senior deputy editor after joining the publication in 2007 as a deputy editor.

Millman is replaced by Alison Overholt, who continues as editor in chief of espnW, a position she has served in since 2014.
