The Los Angeles Times has named Ben Muessig its next tech editor. He replaces Russ Mitchell, who is now with Kaiser Health News after leaving the LA Times during December’s wave of buyouts. Muessig comes to the LA Times from the San Francisco Chronicle, where he has served as business and tech editor since January 2014, following stints with the New York Daily News, The Brooklyn Paper and The Huffington Post.
