Harold Meyerson has announced that his weekly opinion column with The Washington Post will not be renewed. A number of folks have taken to social media to voice their dismay, including presidential candidate Senator Bernie Sanders. Meyerson has served as editor-at-large for the American Prospect since 2003, and was a columnist for the Washington Post from 2003 until December 2015.
