Albor Ruiz has parted ways with New York’s Daily News. The paper has canceled his long-running column focused on immigration and Latino issues. Ruiz had been serving as a columnist for the Daily News for over 20 years, having originally joined the paper in 1993. Before joining, he worked at the bilingual newspaper El Daily News as editor in chief, and had been a columnist for El Diario-La Prensa in New York before that.
