The Washington Post has made a few staff changes recently. Ava Wallace has joined the paper’s sports section as a reporter, where she will focus on local college sports. Wallace comes to the paper after her recent graduation from Northwestern University. Michael Kranish is set to join on Jan. 4 as an investigative reporter covering politics. He is currently deputy chief for The Boston Globe’s Washington bureau. Kranish has been with the Globe since 1984, when he first joined as a business reporter. Finally, Tim Craig will now serve as Afghanistan bureau chief in addition to his current role as Pakistan bureau chief. He has headed the Pakistan bureau since June 2013.
