As National Journal ends its print magazine operations with the December issue, senior writer Michelle Cottle has left the publication to join The Atlantic as a contributing editor. She was most recently covering campaign politics for NJ. In the past, she’s also contributed to The Daily Beast, Newsweek and was a longtime editor with The New Republic.
