CQ Roll Call has added Kris Viesselman to its ranks as senior director for digital content and new products. She most recently founded the creative collective Electric Ivy, following four years as vice president, chief creative officer and managing editor for the San Diego Union-Tribune. Viesselman previously worked in the digital and product arms of National Geographic, following several years in the creative and graphics departments of such California dailies as the San Jose Mercury News, The Orangce County Register and Los Angeles Times.
