Mark Bittman is joining up with Fast Company to write a new column on startups. He recently ended a long run as a beloved columnist for The New York Times to work with Purple Carrot, a meal delivery service. His new column at Fast Company will cover his experiences in the startup world. Bittman began writing for the NYT in 1990, in addition to prolific freelance work and authoring, including many cookbooks.
