CNN has added Phil Mattingly as a general assignment correspondent, starting in January 2016. He will be based in CNN’s New York office. Mattingly comes to the network from Bloomberg News, where he had been serving as a national political correspondent in Washington since January 2015. He was a White House correspondent for Bloomberg Television before that. ‘Like’ CNN on Facebook for breaking news stories.
goes without saying, but Bloomberg is a first class organization with fantastic (and enormously talented) people. Will miss it quite a bit.
