Playbill has named Ruthie Fierberg as features editor for its website. She takes over for Carey Purcell who continues to serve as a freelance journalist covering Broadway and entertainment topics. Fierberg was most recently a freelance writer for Backstage and an editorial assistant to the editor in chief at Parents Magazine.
