Brenda Blackmon has joined New York CW affiliate WPIX-TV as a 6:30 p.m. anchor, a new weekday newscast that will debut in January. Kaity Tong will be Blackmon’s co-anchor; moving from the evening weekend anchor slot. Additionally, Craig Treadway and Kala Rama have both been named evening weekend anchors at the station starting on Jan. 9. Treadway and Rama both serve as reporters for the station as well.
