Gary Levine has been named Showtime’s president of programming this month. Levine previously served as executive vice president for original programming and joined the network in 2001. The move comes in preparation for network president David Nevins’ transition to CEO next year. Prior to joining Showtime, Levine served as president of Internet content producer Icebox.
