am New York editor in chief Pete Catapano is leaving the paper, effective Nov. 30. Catapano has been the editor in chief since January of 2012, and before that was the managing editor for eight years. Prior to joining am New York as news editor in 2003, he served as an editorial assistant at the Associated Press, as well as worked as managing editor of The Brooklyn Skyline.
