Maxim is losing editor in chief, Kate Lanphear on Nov. 13. Lanphear was named editor in chief of Maxim in September 2014 and oversaw an effort to relaunch the magazine from a lad rag into a publication with a more sophisticated edge. She was previously style editor for T: The New York Times Style Magazine where she oversaw style and fashion pieces.
