Doug Meehan has been named general assignment reporter and weekend morning anchor for ABC Boston affiliate WCVB-TV, effective Dec. 19. Meehan is returns to Boston after three years at KPNX-TV, Phoenix’s NBC affiliate, where he served as a news anchor. Before that, he hosted The Doug Meehan Show on WTKK-FM for two years. From 2003 until 2010, he served as a reporter and relief anchor at WFXT-TV, Boston’s FOX affiliate.
