Scott Dempsey was named vice president and general manager of CBS affiliate WBTV-TV. Dempsey replaces Nick Simonette who was promoted to group vice president of Raycom Media. Previously, Dempsey served as vice president and general manager of CBS affiliate WTOC-TV out of Savannah, Georgia. He’s also worked for stations such as WFTS-TV and WABC-TV.
