Cision Blog regrets to inform its readers that Ron Beasley has passed away; he was 73. Beasley had a long career at Miami Community Newspapers, starting in 1964, where he wrote sports and business articles for two years before taking a job as a reporter and producer for a number of local news shows. In his 11 years in broadcast, he worked at WTVJ-TV and WPLG-TV, before returning to newspapers. For the past 14 years, he has been writing the Let’s Talk Cars column, reviewing new cars with a style that went straight to the point.
