ABC News announced two promotions; Brian Kennedy has been promoted to vice president of global news-gathering and planning; and Zach Toback has been promoted to vice president of news and non-fiction studio operations. Kennedy was previously executive director of news-gathering operations since July 2011. Prior to that, he was the director of digital news-gathering for CBS News since June 2008. Toback previously served as executive director of operations before his new role at ABC News. Prior to that, he was vice president of news operations at NBC Television Network.
