MTV has named Dan Fierman vice president and editorial director of MTV News. Fierman comes to the network from ESPN’s Grantland, where he served as deputy editor since April 2011. He had also worked as senior director of editorial operations for ESPN, and was previously a senior editor at GQ. At MTV, Fierman steps into the role vacated by David Sirulnick, who moved on to RadicalMedia as a partner and executive producer. For all things entertainment, check out MTV on Instagram.
