Time Inc. has purchased HelloGiggles, the website founded in 2011 by Sophia Rivka Rossi, Molly McAleer, and Zooey Deschanel. The publisher is also rumored to have their eye on xoJane and sister site xoVain as part of an effort to bring in a younger female audience. In addition to the web content, HelloGiggles currently produces a live monthly event, regular podcasts and videos, and this year published its first book. The expansion will give HelloGiggles a larger platform and more resources to reach readers as they continue in their mission to support new female talent and provide a space for their content.
