Mediaweek Australia, a weekly trade magazine covering media industry, has tapped Dan Barrett as the deputy editor. He is also the content director at Televised Revolution, a website exploring television culture and distribution. Prior to joining Mediaweek Australia, Dan was a senior content producer at The Reckon for a year, and has written for The Guardian and Crikey, as well as appearing on 612 ABC, ABC Sunshine Coast, ABC Gold Coast, ABC Local Digital, 4BC, 3AW, Triple J and Radio National.
