Megan Steintrager is the newest editorial director for food site Clean Plates. She was most recently a freelance food writer and editor, spending the last year overseeing food content for the Today Show website. Before that, she was a freelance food editor for Zagat, Conde Nast’s Gourmet Live and contributed to The New York Times, Time Out New York, Epicurious and Food Network Magazine. She also worked as a senior editor for Epicurious and AOL’s Kitchen Daily. Clean Plates focuses on the “new food culture,” featuring content on organic, sustainable and non-GMO food, including recipes, reviews, news and more.
