Cision Blog regrets to inform its readers that Ed O’Brien of WRGB-TV has passed away. The beloved news anchor was a mainstay on the Albany, New York CBS affiliate’s First News morning program for the past 20 years, beginning as an anchor in 1994, and first joining the station in 1991. O’Brien’s first TV appearance was as a child on WRGB’s Breadtime Stories, followed by work during his teen years for local TV stations.
