Global head of technology coverage Brad Stone outlined some new staff coverage in a recent memo. Brian Womack, whose recent coverage has included Google and Yahoo, will move to cover enterprise companies including Salesforce and Dell, as well as continuing to keep tabs on Yahoo. Startups reporter Eric Newcomer will narrow his coverage to the growing field of “on-demand” companies like Uber, Lyft, and Airbnb. Alex Webb will join his colleagues in San Francisco early next year to begin coverage of Apple; Webb is currently based in Munich.
