James Rufus Koren is set to leave The Los Angeles Business Journal for The Los Angeles Times where he will serve as a reporter covering finance beginning in October 2015. He has served as a reporter at The LA Business Journal since July 2011, and before that, covered transportation and manufacturing and finance for the outlet.
Additionally, John Myers will join The Los Angeles Times next month as bureau chief in Sacramento, replacing acting bureau chief Phil Willon.

Myers will leave behind a senior editor role at KQED-FM where he is overseeing California politics and government in Sacramento. He had also served as KQED’s Sacramento bureau chief from February 2003 to March 2012.
And lastly, deputy managing editor Scott Kraft will take on a new digital role. He will be overseeing the Los Angeles Times website, including the home page, social media, and top stories as deputy managing editor. In his previous role, he had served as deputy managing editor for page one, column one and special projects since 2012. He has been with the paper since 1984 and has served in a number of roles, including 12 years as a national and foreign correspondent. He is an award-winning and Pulitzer Prize finalist, and in his tenure as National Editor saw four Pulitzer Prizes awarded to his staff.
