Scott Ard has joined Silicon Valley Business Journal as editor in chief. He was previously editorial director at Yahoo from September 2011 to July 2015. Prior to that, he was the editor in chief of CNET, which includes all content on CNET News, CNET Reviews, CNET Downloads and CNET TV. Before this role, Ard was editor in chief of CNET Reviews, a position he had held since February 2008. Ard has held various roles during his tenure at CNET.
