CNN has hired Sam Schlinkert as social media producer. He will focus on production of various CNN social media accounts and will be based out of the New York bureau. Schlinkert previously worked as an associate social media editor at BuzzFeed. Prior to that, he was deputy social media editor at The Daily Beast.
