Several staffers have been moved around at Bloomberg News. New head of global tech coverage is Brad Stone, who is based out of Bloomberg’s San Francisco office. He was most recently a senior tech writer for Bloomberg Businessweek since July 2010. Tom Giles has been named executive editor for tech, previously managing editor for global business in the Americas. Taking over Giles’ role is Carolyn Gage who previously was managing editor for global corporate finance. Shannon Harrington steps in as managing editor for global corporate finance, filling the role vacated by Gage. Harrington had previously been the team leader for U.S. corporate finance since January 2014. Additionally, Jody Shenn has departed Bloomberg. He had been with Bloomberg News since October 2006, most recently serving as a mortgage bonds reporter. Shenn has joined Moody’s Investors Service as a research analyst.
