After 130 years of publication, The San Diego Daily Transcript is set to print its last edition on September 1 citing a changing media landscape and operational hurdles. The Daily Transcript began publishing in 1886, providing extensive coverage of local businesses, legal affairs and government. The San Diego publication has around a dozen editorial staff and will officially shut its doors on September 21st.
