Terry Egger has been named publisher and CEO of Philadelphia Media Network that includes The Philadelphia Inquirer, Philadelphia Daily News and Philly.com. He is succeeding company owner, H.F. “Gerry” Lenfest, who will continue to “be involved in company strategy.” Egger was most recently publisher, president and CEO of The Plain Dealer in Cleveland from May 2006 to December 2012. Prior to this, he served as the publisher and president of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch since 1999. During that time, he was also vice president of Lee Enterprises Inc., and oversaw publishing operations in Carbondale, Illinois and Park Hills, Missouri.
