Cision Blog regrets to inform its readers that veteran local news reporter and editor Michael Gelbwasser has passed away. Gelbwasser was the first editor for the Sharon, Massachusetts Patch. He also served as editor for the Westborough Patch and Northborough Patch. Most recently, he contributed to the Worcester Telegram & Gazette, as well as The Community Advocate. Prior to Patch, he was a community news reporter for the Sun Chronicle and was the managing editor of The Jewish Advocate.
