In the wake of top editorial losses tied to a controversial story being pulled, top editorial additions have been announced for the embroiled Gawker Media. John Cook has been named interim executive editor for Gawker Media, overseeing all vertical and staffing. Leah Beckmann will serve as interim editor in chief of Gawker, and Hamilton Nolan will replace Beckmann as deputy editor for the time being.
