The Wall Street Journal has announced a reorganization of its Wealth team. Karen Damato has been named the editor for the team, most recently the deputy editor for the Personal Finance team. Joining the Wealth reporters are Anna Prior and Anne Tergesen. Prior will cover regulatory and compliance issues, while Tergesen will focus on taxes and retirement. Prior most recently wrote for the the WSJ’s Wealth Adviser, while Tergesen worked with the Encore blog.
The WSJ also announced that Michael Wursthorn, Veronica Dagher and Daisy Maxey will continue to cover their previous beats on the Wealth team. Wursthorn will continue coverage of large wealth firms, Dagher will continue examining independent wealth advisers, while Maxey will focus on mutual funds, exchange traded funds and other investments.
