Two staff have joined USA Today for coverage of the 2016 presidential campaign. Rebekah L. Sanders, who will continue to serve as a congressional correspondent for The Arizona Republic, will cover Rick Perry’s campaign. Heidi Przybyla has been named senior political reporter and will focus on Hillary Clinton’s campaign from the Washington bureau. Sanders began covering politics for the Arizona Republic in 2011, and previously covered West Valley enterprise out of the Glendale bureau. Przybyla was most recently a congressional reporter for Bloomberg News in Washington, where she also served as senior politics reporter and a White House reporter.
