Kirsten Danis has left The Wall Street Journal to serve as managing editor for The Marshall Project, a non-profit news organization focused on America’s criminal justice system. She originally joined WSJ in 2011 as deputy editor for the Greater New York section, and most recently served as U.S. Northeast editor. Danis also spent nine years with the (New York) Daily News.
