Peter Bhatia has been named editor and vice president of The Cincinnati Enquirer. Bhatia will begin his new role on August 17. The paper has been without a top editor since Carolyn Washburn resigned. Bhatia has been serving as director of the Donald W. Reynolds National Center for Business Journalism at Arizona State’s Cronkite School since last year. He previously was longtime editor and vice president of The Oregonian

Additionally, Chris Graves will return to the Enquirer as storyteller, columnist, and digital strategist. She was previously with the paper in various roles from 2003 to 2011.
