Chicago’s ABC affiliate WLS-TV has hired Rob Elgas as a reporter and fill-in anchor. Elgas previously worked at NBC affiliate WMAQ-TV as anchor of the 4:30pm newscast since February 2012. Prior to this, he was anchoring NBC 5 News Today. Elgas joined the station in August 2002 from WVIA-TV in El Paso, Texas.
