Jason Ukman and Sharon Begley have joined The Boston Globe’s new life sciences publication.  Ukman, most recently the deputy national security editor for The Washington Post, will serve as the senior news editor. Begley was previously a senior health and science correspondent for Reuters. Also, Veronica Chao has also been promoted from assistant editor to editor for The Boston Globe Magazine. Chao replaces Susanne Althoff, who recently left the publication. For news, sports, features, tech and science coverage from Beantown, follow The Boston Globe on Facebook.
