Turner Broadcasting has announced new appointments for both TBS and TNT in production and creative development. Thom Hinkle has been named the senior vice president of original programming at TBS, most recently the vice president of comedy since October 2013. Joining Turner Broadcasting is Joey Chavez, who will serve as senior vice president of original programming at TNT. Chavez comes to TNT from NBC, where he most recently served as vice president of drama development, working with NBC’s drama programming since September 2008.
Turner Broadcasting has also promoted Robin Pelleck to vice president of digital content for both TNT and TBS’ original programming. She was most recently director of custom content for both networks. Lastly, Meredith Zamsky has come on board as vice president of production for TNT, previously a producer for such programs as ABC’s “Castle” and NBC’s “The Office.” Follow both TNT and TBS on Twitter for updates from the drama and comedy shows.
