Bruce Headlam, managing editor for video at The New York Times, will be taking on a senior editor role for the paper following a restructuring of the video team, which also saw the departure of NYT video’s general manager, Rebecca Howard. Howard joined the NYT in 2013 from AOL. Headlam moved to video in 2013 as well, following a five-year run as media editor.

In other NYT news, Nicholas Casey will soon join the staff from The Wall Street Journal. Casey joined the WSJ in 2007 and most recently served as Middle East correspondent, also reporting from Mexico City and Los Angeles during his eight years there.
