Emma Carew Grovum has joined the staff at The New York Times as staff editor for the opinion section. Carew Grovum joins from Foreign Policy Magazine, where she  served as homepage and social media editor. Later this summer, NYT will also welcome Elizabeth Patton as a correspondent covering European fashion and luxury. Patton currently covers breaking news and construction for the Financial Times and joined the pub in September 2011.
