The layoffs at Wenner Media include staffers at Rolling Stone. Nina Perlman, who served as special projects editor of Rolling Stone and Us Weekly, and Deborah Dragon, deputy photo editor have exited the publication. Senior editor David Fricke is no longer on staff, though he will remain a contract writer for the publication. He has been with Rolling Stone since 1977, and was the magazine’s music editor in the 1990s. Fricke has been honored twice with the ASCAP-Deems Taylor Award for outstanding Music journalism.
