Ebony has made two promotions from within. Kierna Mayo is the magazine’s new editor in chief. Ebony also announced that Kyra Kyles has been promoted to the position of Vice President, Head of Digital Content for Ebony and JET magazines. She will focus her attention on each of the publication’s websites. Mayo previously served as the editorial director of Ebony while Kyles had been the editorial director of JET.
