Dave Wagner has departed Charlotte, North Carolina’s NBC affiliate WCNC-TV, after his contract was not renewed. He anchored the evening newscasts for the station, and had served as host and producer of the Sunday morning program FlashPOINT. Wagner originally joined the station in 2008. Before that, he worked as an anchor at WLWT-TV in Cincinnati for eight years. For local news and weather in the Charlotte, North Carolina area, follow WCNC-TV on Twitter.
