Nitasha Tiku and Alex Kantrowitz have joined Buzzfeed’s San Francisco bureau as senior writer and senior technology reporter respectively. Tiku was most recently the  West Coast Senior Writer at The Verge, a position she took in November of last year. Before that she was a senior writer with Gawker Media, and a senior editor for the New York Observer. Kantrowitz was a staff reporter at Advertising Age since August 2013, and has previously worked as a contributor to Forbes magazine.
