Washington Examiner is beefing up its newsroom with five new additions. First, Barbara Boland has joined the publication as weekend editor. She previously covered domestic and international policy for CNSNews.com and MRC-TV. Three new hires start May 18, including senior editor David Brown, most recently the managing editor of Defense News; senior editor Pete Kasperowicz, who has covered Congress for The Blaze and The Hill; and White House reporter Nicole Duran, most recently the deputy managing editor for news at Foreign Policy. Lastly, joining the Examiner May 27 is campaign reporter Ariel Cohen, who has been serving as a correspondent in Tel Aviv for the Jerusalem Post.
