The Washington Post has named several staffers to key editorial posts. William Wan is returning to the newspaper’s main editorial offices in July to serve as a traveling national correspondent for its new America desk. Wan had been serving as a China correspondent in Beijing since 2012. Anne Kornblut is returning to the paper as associate editor at the National Desk after completion of a Knight Fellowship at Stanford. She will be based out of Palo Alto, California and will be covering the 2016 conventions and political debates. Finally, Scott Wilson has been named deputy national editor at the paper. Wilson had been serving in an interim capacity in place of Anne Kornblut.
