Amid the recent acquisition by Tribune Publishing, U-T San Diego has restored its former title to the San Diego Union-Tribune. Tribune Publishing, also owner of the Los Angeles Times, plans to combine resources of both papers while maintaining each paper’s style and voice. LA Times publisher Austin Beutner will also serve as publisher of the Union-Tribune. For more local news updates, follow the Union-Tribune on Twitter.
